Building Arctic Habitats

First, we did some planning for the arctic habitats that we will be building.  We looked at pictures, made a list, and drew our plans in our science journals.

Next, we created our arctic habitats for our polar bears.  After much planning and discussion, we were excited and ready to begin.  We invited our reading buddies to come help us with the gluing and they turned out beautifully.  We can't wait to show them to you when you visit our classrooms for our portfolio open-house next week.
